A glowing testimonial
Some months after the Balfour Castle website was completed we asked Andrea Spence-Jones about her experience of working with us.
The questions used are mainly taken from the Which Web Designer client questionnaire. The views expressed are entirely Andrea's own and are unedited.
What kind of relationship did you have with your website designer? Did they communicate well with you?
A wonderful friendly relationship but professional at all times. Communication was rapid and always helpful.
Did they take your requests into consideration?
Yes, at all times even when we were changing our minds and different people at our end wanted different things. If we asked for advice we got it and if we still wanted something that maybe seemed unorthodox we got that too.
Did you feel part of the process? Did they keep you informed about what they were doing?
100%, every change was run past us, layouts available and live links available for our comment- from the photographs to the text- Michael had infinite patience with us and nothing was done without our consent.
Did they speak to you in jargon or jargon free?
Jargon – free even when sorting out our new emails- Michael was on the phone patiently talking me through the ‘techie stuff’. If something got the better of me, he did it for me- couldn’t fault him.
Were you happy with the final outcome?
Delighted! The site is slick, easy to use and exactly what we envisioned for Balfour. Michael captured the essence of the Balfour and the results are evident on the site.
Has the outcome made a difference to your business?
Business is booming- fully booked up for the entire shoot season and more wedding enquiries than ever before. Staff annual leave could be a thing of the past!
Did they do something exceptional which you hadn't anticipated?
Yes- I think how patient they were has to be mentioned, how they made suggestions without ever losing sight of their remit and the respectful way Michael responded to us. His experience was enormously helpful, never over-bearing and nothing asked of them ever troubled them. That everything was done to such a high standard, on time and with a great sense of humour made the whole experience utterly enjoyable and exciting. You could tell Michael wanted us to be happy and proud of the site and he took such a keen interest it was evident he enjoyed his work too and that is so important. I never once thought ‘oh Michael won’t want to hear from me again’- it was like having an open door of support and expertise.
Did they deal with any complications well?
Yes, I can’t think what if any we had, apart from us changing our mind at times about what we wanted to say.
Did they offer good value for money?
I don’t know how much it cost to be truthful but I don’t doubt it was worth every single penny. If business increases, you have more enquiries and if you receive such positive feedback about the site as we do then it was well worth it.
The question isn’t asked about recommending the company but if it was I would say 100% yes, these people have extensive experience, they love their work, they are always contactable and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Tigerchick rock!
